Irresistible Bread

  • 1/2 cup (1 cube) butter or margarine - softened
  • 1/2 cup fresh Parmesan cheese - grated
  • 3 cloves CHRISTOPHER RANCH GARLIC, minced
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. dill weed
  • 1 loaf French bread - sliced lengthwise

Blend all ingredients and spread on French bread.  Broil until lightly browned.  Slice immediately and serve.



 

Garlic & Shallot Butter Bread

  • 1/2 lb. (2 sticks) butter or margarine - softened
  • 3 cloves Christopher Ranch Garlic - minced
  • 2 Christopher Ranch Shallots - peeled and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley - chopped
  • 1 large loaf French bread - cut lengthwise

Blend first four ingredients and spread bread generously with Garlic & Shallot Butter.

Broil until golden brown and bubbly, then slice and serve.

Note:  Flavor is even better if butter is made the day before.  Just cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.  Let soften at room temperature until spreadable.

Other uses:  Melt Garlic & Shallot Butter over grilled seafood or cooked vegetables; use for sautés or as a basting sauce for poultry or meat; add to sauces.
