Henry W. Coe State Park California's second largest state park contains 200 miles of dirt roads and trails, 3 watersheds, 90 lakes and ponds and five ecological systems. Bright Ranch A working horse ranch where customers can take horseback riding lessons, learn horse training, learn basic or advanced horse care techniques or round up some of the ranch's Texas longhorn cattle. Available for corporate retreats or team building. Calero Reservoir and Park offers power boating, water-skiing and fishing. Chesbro and Uvas Reservoirs are for non-power boats, picnics and fishing. Visit Coyote Lake for boating just minutes from Downtown Gilroy.
Chitactac Adams Park This beautiful four acre park site is open year round from 8 am until sunset. Take a self-guided interpretive walk around the site and learn about the Ohlone Indians who inhabited the park years ago. 408-842-2341	Coyote Lake – Harvey Bear Ranch This 4,595 – acre park featuring a 635 acre lake, camping and boat launch facilities, and 13 miles of horse, bicycle and hiking trails is nestled in the Diablo Range east of the City of Gilroy.
